Jade Le Grice

Associate Dean Māori

Jade Sophia Le Grice is from Northern tribes Te Rarawa and Ngāpuhi. She is Associate Dean Māori in Science & a Senior Lecturer in Māori Psychology at the University of Auckland. Her research focusses on sexual & reproductive justice and she is a member of Nga Kaitiaki Mauri, of Te Ohaki a Hine: National Network Ending Sexual Violence Together, He Paiaka Totara: Maori Psychologists, and Te Aparangi: Māori Partnership Alliance Ministry of Health.

Jan is the Manupiri Rangahau | Associate Dean Research in the Faculty of Science. She is a volcanologist based in the School of Environment and also a student of te reo Māori at te Wānanga o Aotearoa. She grew up in Rotorua and Western Samoa.

Charlie (Uenuku, Tamakana, Ngati Tuwharetoa, and Ngati Tama) is a researcher based in the Department of Exercise Sciences. Her research focusses on how extreme environmental and physical challenges affect the brain and body.
